This 2-year-old Pit Bull Terrier has been overlooked far too long! Cherry (ID: A02763415) is super sweet and full of personality. She is one of the most loving and affectionate dogs to come through our doors! Sadly she arrived here last fall. Cherry is extremely well mannered, calm, gentle and fun loving. She loves the opportunity to cut loose and run in the play yards, she enjoys her toys, but most of all, she LOVES human companionship. Cherry is very laid back. Nothing seems to bother this beautiful lady. She gets along with other dogs and doesn't give cats a second look. She eagerly greets folks of all ages when they stop in to say "HI." She has a strong, solid build that may deter people, but she is just a lap dog in a big body. Once she gets over the initial excitement of seeing you, she will back right up into your lap and park it! We assure you that Cherry may look like a lion, but has the heart of Lassie.
